Doctor's Choice Health Products Privacy Policy

We have created this privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information.

Collection of your Personal Information

Doctor's Choice Health Products (DCHP) explicitly asks when it needs information that personally identifies you ("personal information"). We will collect such information when, for example, you request information about our services, you enter a sweepstakes or respond to a survey on the DCHP site, or you subscribe to a DCHP service. Personal information we collect can include your e-mail address, name, address, telephone number, and credit card number, as applicable. DCHP also may ask for demographic information.

DCHP also collects certain information about your computer hardware and software. This information may include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses.

Use of your Personal Information

DCHP uses your personal information to provide the products and services you have requested. The information is also used to communicate with you regarding any account you may have with us by sending out periodic communications that are considered as essential to the operation of the service.

We use your e-mail address to respond to incoming service and support requests from you, to collect customer feedback, customer satisfaction surveys, sweepstakes notices, and other service informational mailings.

We ask for your postal address because some of our services require a mailing address so that we can completely perform the service. For example, we need your postal address to send free samples or to send products you have ordered.

DCHP may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on DCHP or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of DCHP, the site or the users of DCHP; or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of DCHP employees, users of DCHP products or services, or members of the public.

Sharing your Personal Information with Other Companies

Except as otherwise described in this statement, DCHP will share your personal information with other companies only with your consent. For example, when subscribing to a service which involves a third party to facilitate the service, your personal information will be shared.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as packaging and delivering purchases and other mailings, providing customer service, performing statistical analysis of our services, or providing other essential elements of the site. We will only provide those companies the personal information they need to deliver the product or service. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of that information and are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.0

Security of your Personal Information

DCHP is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer servers with limited access, that are located in controlled facilities. Additionally, when we transmit sensitive personal information (such as a credit card number) over the Internet, we protect it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

Use of Cookies

To make it easy and convenient for you to login to our services, the DCHP site requires you to enable cookies to utilize our services.

A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. For example, if you navigate within a site, a cookie helps the site to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same DCHP's Web site, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the features that you customized.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer.

DCHP's sites contain links to other web sites. You should carefully examine the privacy statements of sites linking to or from DCHP before providing any personal information to those sites. Personal information that you choose to provide to other web sites will be subject to the privacy policies of that specific wab site. DCHP is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on Web sites outside of the DCHP family of Web sites.
